Gentlemen, don’t miss the Oxxford Clothing Trunk Show this Thursday at Larrimor’s

September 27, 2010

Like all objects of fine character, Oxxford made-to-measure suits and shirts endure long and gracefully. Trust us. Nothing ever quite feels like an Oxxford. Clark Gable, Cary Grant and Joe DiMaggio knew that feeling. Now so can you. Trunk Show hours are 10am – 7pm.

Young and the Restless Star Visits Larrimor’s

September 16, 2010

This week, Larrimor’s hosted Victoria Rowell (aka Drucilla) and members of United Way of Allegheny County’s Women’s Leadership Council at a special cocktail reception in her honor.  Vicky spent the evening smiling and mingling with VIP guests and signing copies of her latest books — Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva and The Women Who Raised Me.

Of course it was a fashionable evening of fun, all for a great cause!  And we were delighted to have UWAC President Bob Nelkin, WLC Chair Diane Holder, WLC Co-Chair Susie Shipley, an intimate crowd of WLC Committee members and local media in our midst throughout the night.

Vicky loved Larrimor’s… and Pittsburgh!  Bright and early the next morning, she took the podium as keynote speaker at the 9th Annual WLC Breakfast — a sell-out event with over 800+ women in attendance.  Each guest was greeted at their seat with a Larrimor’s gift bag, filled with the new fall FORUM magazine and other goodies.  And one lucky lady received a $200 Larrimor’s gift certificate — tucked secretly inside her little black bag!

Larrimor’s is a proud supporter of the Women’s Leadership Council, a powerful group of 1200 women philanthropists and community leaders who have collectively raised over $14 million for United Way of Allegheny County since 2001.   Join us in uniting women for a Greater Pittsburgh!
